Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Richard Smith Coaching (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information through richardsmithcoaching.net and its pages (the “Site”), including our contact form, email subscription, coaching discovery-call application and call scheduling, and the Ego self-assessment linked from the Site.

1. Information you give us

• Contact form: first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), your coaching interest and your message.
• Email subscription: first name and email address.
• Discovery-call application: first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), the area you want coaching in, your biggest current obstacle and what you hope to accomplish.
• Scheduling a call: your name, email address and the date and time you choose. Phone number and notes are optional.
• Ego self-assessment: your answers, your results and the contact details you provide.
• Terms agreement: on the coaching application, your agreement to our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, recorded with the date, time, time zone and IP address of your submission.

2. Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our website platform and the services that deliver its pages receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the page that referred you. The platform also uses its own cookies and similar browser storage to run forms and scheduling, recognize returning visitors, count page views and connect a form submission with the visit and page it came from. We have not added third-party advertising pixels or analytics tools such as Google Analytics to the Site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though some forms may then not work.

3. How we use information

• To reply to your message or application.
• To schedule a discovery call you request and send email confirmations and reminders about it.
• To deliver resources you ask for, such as assessment results.
• To send marketing emails, but only if you subscribe or otherwise give separate consent.
• To operate and protect the Site and keep records the law requires.

Submitting a contact form, application or booking does not sign you up for marketing emails.

4. Email

Discovery-call confirmations and reminders are sent by email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We may still email you about a request you made, such as a reply to your message or a reminder for a call you booked.

5. Text messages and WhatsApp

We do not send text (SMS) or WhatsApp messages. Our communications are by email only. The coaching website and discovery-call forms do not ask for text-message consent. If you give a phone number, it is optional and we may use it only to contact you about your request. If we ever decide to send text messages, we will ask for separate consent and update this policy first.

6. Service providers we use

We use these services to run the Site and our coaching scheduling. They receive personal information only as needed to provide their services to us:

• HighLevel (LeadConnector): our website, form, scheduling, CRM and email platform. It hosts the Site and stores your form submissions, bookings and email history.
• Email delivery providers used by that platform to send our emails.
• Google Calendar and Google Meet: when you book a call, the appointment is added to our Google Calendar and the call is held on Google Meet. Google may send you a calendar invitation and event updates.
• Google Fonts: used to display the Site’s fonts, which means your browser connects to Google when pages load.

Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Other sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may also share information when required by law, to protect the rights, safety or property of Richard Smith Coaching or others, or as part of a transfer of the business.

8. Third-party links and content

The Site shows video thumbnails loaded from YouTube and links to YouTube, Amazon and other sites. When thumbnails load or you follow those links, those services may receive information such as your IP address. Their own privacy policies apply.

9. Retention and security

We keep personal information in our CRM while it is useful for the purposes above, unless you ask us to delete it or the law requires us to keep it. We have not set fixed retention periods. We rely on our platform providers’ security measures and the Site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it, or ask us to stop sending marketing emails. Email your request to [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We may keep some information where the law requires or allows us to. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under applicable law.

11. Age

Anyone may browse the Site’s public content. Our forms, email subscription, self-assessment, coaching application and call booking are intended only for adults 18 and older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
